Brand Usage Policy

This policy covers the organization names "CQUT-OSP", "重庆理工大学开源计划", the CQUT four-letter modular logo, and their official combinations (the "brand assets"). These terms do not affect the open-source licenses already applied to code and documentation.

Permitted Use

• Refer to, introduce, or review CQUT-OSP and its projects accurately.
• Clearly describe your involvement in resumes, articles, or presentations.
• Link to the organization's official pages, or point to organization resources with an unmodified logo.
• With maintainer approval, produce promotional materials for community events that follow the design system.

You Must

• Never imply official endorsement by Chongqing University of Technology, its schools, or administrative bodies.
• Never imply that third-party projects, accounts, or services are run by CQUT-OSP.
• Follow the clear space, color, and minimum size rules and the misuse guidelines when using the logo.
• Never charge money or mislead users in the community's name during onboarding, downloads, or identity verification; see the Attribution & Disclaimer for statement requirements.

Prohibited Use

• Impersonating the organization's or the university's official accounts, login pages, authentication services, notices, or certificates.
• Using the name and logo for scams, malware, privacy violations, or other misleading activity.
• Registering domain names, organization names, app names, or social accounts that could cause confusion.
• Modifying the logo and continuing to claim it is the official CQUT-OSP logo.
• Using the brand for merchandise sales, paid services, or commercial endorsement without permission.

University Marks

The Chongqing University of Technology emblem, standard wordmark, and official visual identity assets are trademarks and copyrighted assets of the university; this policy grants no rights to them. Community projects must obtain written authorization from the university to use its marks and follow the full specifications in the University VI Reference.

Contact & Authorization

To use brand assets beyond the scope above, contact the maintainers through the public channels of the CQUT-OpenProject GitHub organization. Maintainers may require the removal of any use that confuses or harms the community's image.
